“Depends on the day, I guess,” play-by-play colleague Kevin Burkhardt replied.
The 6-foot-4 Brady teasing Hart about his short stature might seem like a low blow, but it was all in fun.
Brady quickly reminded the comedian that he struck first with zingers at the ex-quarterback’s roast last year.
“Kevin, I love you. You took so many shots at me in May. I’m coming right back at you,” Brady said.
During the Netflix roast, Hart joined in the mass zinging of Brady and Gisele Bundchen’s divorce. One of the factors, his ex-wife said, was Brady’s choice to extend his career. In 2022 at age 45, Brady played for a mediocre Tampa Bay Buccaneers team.
Hart apparently shook off Brady’s revenge salvo. Fox Sports shared video of the “Ride Along” star celebrating the Philadelphia Eagles’ victory over the Kansas City Chiefs with his kids aboard what appeared to be a private jet.
Living well is indeed the best revenge.
